already mid-August, and I haven't updated in a month! (left a lot of comments on others' LJs tho) ~ summer was a blast, even with all my jobs. School starts in a week and a half (which is when I'm gonna look for another job-internship again) so in the mean time I'm living it out! Well not really, but I'm doing a lot of roadtripping around the LA area. Went to Huntington Beach where I almost got stung by jellyfish while swimming (damn red tides), to Ontario where I saw Wanda Sykes and did some shopping (found a VERY nice pair of Vans slip-ons... you know, the classic stuff before they went all skater-ish.) and today I'll probably go to the Santa Monica pier & promenade (and Vegas for 2 nights next week!)

I've also started becoming more conscious of being fit. Not so much that I want bulging pecs and six-pack abs (though that wouldn't hurt either ;)) but just trying to get and maintain a healthy weight and build a little more muscle. I've been alternating cardio and toning every day and so far that's working out well, along with eating less (though I'm sure Vegas will put a break to THAT! momentarily at least.) Hopefully school and a new job will still spare me enough time for my daily 30-45 "fit time."

Oh yea, all that time outdoors and in the sun tanned my skin and bleached my hair even more, an interesting contrast---I shall take pics and make userpics out of them soon enough ;).
